Day 8

Memorable breakfast: pancakes with a bowl of blueberry/raspberry
fresh made jam. We all decided that The Point Lodge was a great place to
stay although it added good 90 miles to our driving. Our alternative,
Glenallenn, was not attractive at all. Rainy day again. We drove tru Delta
Junction to Fairbanks where we had dinner at a restaurant (gourmet) and
continued to Chena Hot Springs resort. Rain is ok when you are seating in a
very hot rock pool with short cooling off on the rocks! Evening bottle of
wine, and long sleep - we slept almost till 9!
